Privacy Policy

Part107Quiz.com ("we", "this site") collects as little data as it can while still learning which pages and quizzes actually help people study. This page explains, in plain language, what is and isn't collected.

Quiz answers stay on your device

Your answers exist only in the open page, and your best score on each quiz is stored only in your browser's localStorage. Your answers never leave your device, and we cannot see them. The one exception is the score of a finished attempt: when you finish a practice test or the mock exam, Google Analytics receives that attempt's percentage score, the number of questions and whether it was a pass (see the next section) — never the answers themselves. Clearing your browser data erases everything stored on your device.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4

Since October 3, 2026 this site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-CBZ8Y19RJ0), a Google service, to count visits and to see which pages, links and quizzes are useful. Its script loads on every page and sets first-party cookies in your browser — _ga and _ga_CBZ8Y19RJ0 — that hold a random identifier, so that repeat visits from the same browser can be counted as one visitor. By default these cookies expire after two years.

What Google Analytics records:

• the pages you view, when you view them, and the site or search engine that sent you here;
• your approximate location (country, region and city), which Google derives from your IP address. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses;
• device and browser details: device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language;
• Google Analytics' automatic measurements, which are on for this site: when you scroll to 90% of a page's height, clicks on links to other websites (with the destination address), file downloads such as the free PDF (with the file name and address), and how long each page was open in front of you (engagement time);
• these events on this site: clicks on a link to the Premium Pack page (which link — the menu, the footer, a quiz or mock-exam result, or a link inside an article — and the page it was on); clicks on the Ko-fi checkout button, including which of those links had brought you to the Premium Pack page in the same browser tab; when a Premium Pack offer was on screen for at least a second; when you finish a practice test or the mock exam, with the score described above; and downloads of the free 50-question PDF.

It does not record your individual answers, your name or email address, or anything you type. What happens after you click through to Ko-fi is covered by Ko-fi's own policy (below); Google Analytics on this site does not see your purchase.

Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We use the reports only to decide what to write and fix on this site, and we do not sell the data.

Your choices about analytics

On your first visit a notice at the bottom of the page tells you that this site uses Google Analytics cookies. Pressing OK only hides the notice: it saves the value cookieOk in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie, and never sent anywhere) so the notice is not shown again. It does not switch analytics on or off. To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or block this site's cookies in your browser settings (deleting them only resets the random identifier). The practice tests and the mock exam work exactly the same either way.

Do Not Track: Google Analytics does not respond to your browser's Do Not Track setting, so turning it on does not stop collection on this site; use the opt-out add-on above instead.

No accounts

This site requires no account. Browsing and practicing on this site collects no names, email addresses, precise locations, or government identifiers. If you buy the Premium Pack, Ko-fi and the payment processor you pay through share your name and email address with us (card payments can also include a billing address); their own privacy policies apply to that purchase.

Email signup

The site does not currently ask for an email address. If an optional signup is added and you choose to enter your email address to receive study materials, that address is processed by our email service provider, MailerLite, under its own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email, and you can ask us at hello@part107quiz.com to delete your address from our email provider entirely. Downloading the free PDF does not require an email address.

Advertising

The site does not currently display advertising or load any advertising script. If advertising (such as Google AdSense) is enabled in future, this page will be updated first, and Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Where required, a consent mechanism will be shown before such cookies are set.

Server logs

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, GitHub may log basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to operate and secure the service; see GitHub's privacy documentation for details. We do not receive or store these logs.

Children

This site provides exam-preparation content for the FAA remote pilot certificate, which requires a minimum age of 16. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact
