5 full mock exams (PDF)

60 questions each, drawn at the FAA's current area weighting (Regulations 48%, Airspace 20%, Weather 5%, Loading & Performance 2%, Operations 25%, in effect since September 29, 2025). No question appears in more than one of the five exams. Each exam is drawn from the full 385, so 20 to 32 of its 60 questions are ones the free site also has. Answer key and full explanations in the back of each file.

Every question grouped by topic with the answer, the plain-English why, and the regulation or FAA publication it rests on directly underneath. Drill a weak topic until the reasoning is obvious, then take the mocks cold.

56 sectional chart image questions (PDF)

One question per page, each on an excerpt of an FAA sectional chart (editions dated September 3, 2026) with three answer choices, and an answer key with explanations at the back. 31 of the 56 are only in the pack. The other 25 are the free chart image practice on this site, marked as such in the file. The FAA says image-based questions from current sectional charts join the Part 107 test on October 26, 2026. These are our own practice questions in that format, not actual FAA test questions, and the FAA has not published how many image-based questions a test will include or what the on-screen tools look like. Sectionals are reissued every 56 days, so never use the excerpts for navigation.

212 questions not on the free site

The free site teaches the rules. The 212 premium-only questions lean on applied scenarios: LAANC grid decisions, MSL-vs-AGL shelf math, TAF decoding, CRM scenarios, over-people categories, Remote ID edge cases. The chart file adds 31 more image-based questions that are not on the site.

Why this can beat a full video course if you've already studied

Well-known paid Part 107 video courses list at roughly $200–$300; when we checked in September 2026, several were discounted to about $150–$160. If you've already studied — you need repetitions under exam conditions, which is exactly what this is.

The exam costs $175 per attempt. Five full-length rehearsals for CA$29 (about US$21) is the cheap insurance in that equation.

Questions

How is this different from the free site?

Same standards, more volume. The free site's 173 questions stay free forever. Premium adds 212 questions you won't see on the site. The study bank holds all 385, and each of the five mock exams is drawn from all 385 at the FAA weighting, so 20 to 32 of each exam's 60 questions are ones the free site also has (134 of the 300 mock questions, about 45%). If you've drilled the site, you'll recognize those. No question appears in more than one of the five exams. The chart image file has 56 questions: the 25 from the free chart image practice plus 31 that are only in the pack.

What format are the files?

Seven PDFs in a ZIP of about 10 MB: five mock exams, the study bank and the chart image practice. They work on any device and print cleanly. No account, no app, no DRM.

Are the charts on the real exam covered?

The real test uses figures from the FAA's free testing supplement (FAA-CT-8080-2H), and from October 26, 2026 the FAA says it will also include current VFR-chart images not found in the supplement. The pack's chart image file has 56 practice questions in that image-based format, each on an excerpt of an FAA sectional chart (editions dated September 3, 2026) with an explanation. They are our own questions, not actual FAA test questions, and the FAA has not published how many image-based questions a test will include. The pack's airspace questions train the decisions behind them, and the README links the supplement so you can practice reading its figures too.

How was this made?

Written from public FAA source material (14 CFR Part 107, the Remote Pilot ACS, FAA handbooks and, for the chart questions, the FAA's Aeronautical Chart Users' Guide) with the help of automated tooling, then quality-checked: balanced answer keys, no "longest answer is right" tells, no duplicates, and a reference to the regulation or FAA publication behind every explanation.
