About Part 107 Quiz

Part 107 Quiz exists for one reason: passing the FAA remote pilot knowledge test should not cost $300. The FAA publishes everything the exam draws from โ€” 14 CFR Part 107 itself, the Remote Pilot Airman Certification Standards, and its official study guides. What most people lack isn't source material; it's realistic practice with clear explanations. That's what this site provides, free.

How the questions are written

Every question in our bank is original. We write each one against the FAA's published test specifications, mirror the real exam's five knowledge areas and their official weighting, and attach two things to every answer: a plain-English explanation and the specific regulation or FAA source it rests on. Answer choices are shuffled on every attempt so you learn concepts, not letter positions โ€” the same reason the real exam randomizes its forms.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FAA or any government agency, and we make no claim to have "actual exam questions" โ€” nobody outside the FAA testing system does, and vendors who claim otherwise deserve your skepticism. We also never promise that you will pass: that part is yours. What we can promise is that the material here tracks the FAA's published sources, and when the rules change (as they did with night operations in 2021 and Remote ID in 2023), the bank gets updated.
